Airedale Int are part of the Modine Group of Companies. They design and manufacture a complete range of air conditioning products for a global.

The Modine Manufacturing Company is based in Wisconsin, USA and has been a worldwide leader in thermal management solutions for around 90 years. Modine design, test and manufacture heat transfer products for a wide range of markets and projects. They employ 8,200 people worldwide at 35 facilities located in North America, Europe and in Asia.

Chiller & Close Control Industry Leader

Founded in 1974, Airedale has grown to become an industry leader in the research, design and manufacture of a large range of chillers, comfort and close control products. They operate from a huge production facility and £2 million test centre in Leeds which is regarded as a centre of excellence for air conditioning.

Innovative product development is at the core of Airedale’s success, setting industry standards and giving Airedale the edge when it comes to manufacturing expertise and addressing environmental, industry and environmental challenges. Fine-tuning our products in order to meet the demands of a wide range of client needs has ensured that Airedale remain a first choice for air conditioning in telecommunication centres, data centres, banks and other commerce buildings, and in the leisure, industrial, retail, defence and education sectors.

Airedale’s Global Manufacturing Facilities

Airedale have manufacturing facilities in both South Africa and China where they employ over 450 staff. Its products are distributed to more than 50 countries via a network of well-established business partners and distributors.

Airedale’s Research & Development Promoting Energy Efficiency

All Airedale products are developed to maximise their energy efficiency. Green issues such as carbon reduction technology and leak detection now play a huge role in all Airedale’s research and development programmes. All Airedale products are assembled using only the very best materials and the most efficient components available and all are extensively tested before despatch.

Airedale Factory & Test Facility

Delivering effective air conditioning to a wide variety of customers with diverse requirements, demands the highest levels of investment in manufacturing technology, systems and skilled engineers. At Airedale’s UK offices and Test Centre is available the very best facilities. Designed and built to exceed stringent international standards, the test centre is capable of testing a full range of air conditioning equipment for a global market. Cooling and heating capacities range from 2kW to 120kW and chillers up to 1MW, the climate temperature being fully controllable anywhere from –5°C to +55°C.
