Split & VRF Air Conditioning Systems Inverter Technology

Toshiba Air Conditioning

Toshiba manufacture a wide range of air conditioning systems including single, twin and multi-split systems and a comprehensive range of VRF systems. Toshiba’s investment in research and development together with customer feedback is constant. The result, is systems that deliver the highest energy efficiency levels, easy and flexible installation, low noise, user friendly control and comfort. New R410A Super Digital Inverter, Series 4

The new energy efficient R410A Super Digital Inverter from Toshiba is equipped with new Eco-driving twin-rotary compressors making the system energy class A in both heating and cooling. This results in savings of up to 70% in annual energy costs compared to fixed speed systems.

This system is also perfect for replacement of older, less energy efficient R22 and R407C systems. Able to replace both indoor and outdoor units whilst utilising the existing pipework*, the result is a quicker, cheaper, more environmentally responsible installation.

R410A MiNi-SMMS, VRF

The Mini-SMMS is specifically designed to bridge the capacity gap between the versatile multi-split systems and larger VRF systems. Ideal for offices, shops, restaurants, residential applications and capable of operating up to 9 indoor units it delivers the ideal comfort level in a compact, quiet, energy efficient and lightweight unit ensuring ease of installation and operation - the first choice for professionals and individuals that demand the best.

Larger R410A VRF Systems (S-MMS & S-HRM)

Toshiba’s larger VRF systems encompass the S-HRM and S-MMS detailed below. Each of the outdoor units incorporates twin DC rotary compressors. The key benefits are maximised energy efficiency with no over/under load demands and extended compressor longevity. Both systems are ideal for larger commercial buildings including hotels, offices and retail stores.

Outdoor units for both the S-MMS and the S-HRM share the same physical size and design. This ensures a smart appearance on-site when a combination of the two systems is required to meet the project requirements. In addition, the indoor unit range is fully compatible for both systems, with a choice of 13 designs and over 80 sizes - there is an ideal solution for all building requirements. Three new indoor units including a 600 x 600mm ceiling cassette, a four way cassette and a new aesthetic high wall.

The S-HRM system offers simultaneous cooling and heating to suit multiple zones and individual requirements.

Control & Indoor Unit Options

To ensure ease of operation and control for both the building occupant and owner, a choice of over 20 control options are available including BMS, touch screen control, centralised, wired, simplified and wireless remote controllers and weekly timers. Bespoke controls can be designed to suit specific client needs. In addition to the advanced controls, there is a wide choice of over 80 indoor unit sizes in 13 designs to ensure every customer has the ideal solution to suit their needs.
