Group 1 Evaporative Coolers
Portable Evaporative coolers are the natural way to cool down. They
work with the windows and doors open and give a continuous flow of cool,
washed, fresh air to keep you comfortable during the hottest days and
nights. The concept works like this ... Positioned adjacent to an open
window, your evaporative cooler draws fresh air from outside. The air is
drawn through a special moisture rich pad, cooled and filtered at the
same time then circulated into the open space. This is a breath of fresh
air to all hay fever and asthma sufferers. As the fresh cool air is
drawn into the space it literally forces hot, stale air out through open
windows and doors, flushing the area with fresh clean air hour after

Group 2 Single Unit Portable Air Conditioners
Mobile air conditioning units work by taking heat from a room,
expelling it to the outside. Air inside the room is chilled and
recirculated. There are two main types of mobile, single units and split
systems. Single units are instantly recognised by their exhaust hose
which is used to expel the hot and damp air to the outside. Single units
can cope with a wide range of standard room requirements.
