Room Air Conditioner Range (RAC)

Hitachi offers an extensive range of room air conditioning units suitable for domestic and light commercial applications, all operating with R410A refrigerant. The Monozone/Multizone range provides a comprehensive selection of DC inverter mono and multi split systems, maintaining full compatibility of indoor unit throughout the range. The latest offering in this range is the award winning S-Series; this wall mounted unit is equipped with Real Dry function to control humidity levels within the room between 40% and 70%. This market leading range offers a COP of 6.13 and EER of 6.0 allowing running costs of only £17 per year (conditions apply).

System Free Indoor Units

Hitachi offers a choice of nine indoor units - indoor unit styles from 2kW to 25kW which are compatible across the full range of commercial outdoor units. This unique concept of system free indoor units are suitable for every application where quiet, reliable air conditioning is required, with features that include reduced noise levels and advanced diagnostic remote controls to make troubleshooting simple.

Utopia Range

In today's market where energy efficiency is key, the Utopia Inverter range offers the perfect solution. The range is available from 5.0kW to 35kW, for single, twin, triple or quad installation and is compatible with the full range of indoor unit styles. With utilisation of ozone friendly R410A refrigerant as well as the combination of Hitachi's advanced technology, DC inverter compressor and fan motor, and optimised heat exchanger design, energy efficiency comes as standard.

The award winning IVX (7.1kW to 33.5kW) not only brings market leading COPs, but also variable refrigerant flow and independent control to the Inverter Split range. Environmentally the IVX wins, reducing refrigerant, energy input, noise, space and manufacturing impact.

Set Free VRF Systems

Through tremendous investment in research and development, Hitachi is able to offer impressive VRF systems, the Set Free range, incorporating heat pump and heat recovery versions with one of the largest capacity ranges available in the industry from 8kW to 150kW inclusive. Hitachi’s new FSXN boasts two highly effective heat pump systems in one unit: a two pipe system for open plan environments and a three pipe system for individual spaces allowing the air conditioning to be tailored to meet a diverse range of building requirements. Comfort protection function across the entire range allowing degree point off coil temperature setting and long pipe runs up to 1000m make Hitachi Set Free systems one of the best on the market today.

Samurai Chiller

The Hitachi Samurai range is available in capacity ranges between 106kW and 1168kW and is manufactured and tested at the state-of-the-art production facility, HAPE, near Barcelona, Spain.

The Samurai Air Cooled Chiller is available in both cooling only and heat pump options, cooling from 112kW to 1168kW and heat pump from 106kW to 585kW.

The Samurai Water Cooled Chiller is available from 134kW to 696kW and is one of the most efficient water cooled chillers available today. The latest addition to the range is the Condenserless Chiller, available in capacities from 120kW to 360kW. All models incorporate plate heat exchangers which contribute to the range having one of the smallest footprints in the market.

The range utilises Hitachi’s world renowned highly reliable and efficient twin screw compressor making the range one of the quietest on the market.

Domestic Heating / Heat Pumps

Hitachi is one of the first manufacturers to integrate DC Inverter technology in the construction of heat pumps and using this technology the output for heating a house can be adapted to meet specific requirements.

AquaFREE: Hitachi’s AquaFREE system is a heat pump heating system for winter, and a refresh cooling system for summer. The system consists of an inverter heat pump outdoor unit and a hydraulic water module indoor unit. The heat pump absorbs heat from the outside, and transfers it to the water circuit by means of the AquaFREE water module. The AquaFREE system is available from 8kW to 14kW and benefits the environment by reducing both energy input and CO2 emissions.

Yutaki: Hitachi’s Yutaki heat pump is the ideal heating solution incorporating integrated features and controls which deliver all the functions of a fully-fledged heating system, making it the ideal replacement for a traditional, boiler-led, set up. Cheaper to install than ground-source heat pumps, Yutaki converts 1kW consumption into an impressive 4kW output making it economical for heating and domestic hot water.

Control Systems

Hitachi offers a wide range of hard wired and wireless remote controllers which are compatible with all indoor and outdoor units across the entire product range.

In addition Hitachi offers a CS Net Web standalone control system which allows users to fully monitor and control their air conditioning systems from anywhere with web access. Single and multiple sites can be monitored from one central point and the user can ascertain the system performance at all times. CS-Net Web can control up to 160 indoor units and up to 64 outdoor units connected to the Hitachi H-Link communication system.

Hi-ToolKit

Hitachi has a number of software programmes developed to design systems which meet building consultants requirements. The software allows the user to proceed quickly and easily through the phases of selection. Available for all product ranges this simple to use software can even generate personalised reports for the customer.
