Halton Adaptable Climate Chilled Beams

The concept for easy interior layout changes – “churn”. Flexibility is one of the most important demands for high performance premises, Halton Adaptable Climate concept, provides excellent indoor climate conditions whilst allowing easy and cost efficient layout changes.

This unique system provides simple adjustment of air velocity, cooling capacity and primary air volume to maximise adaptability, and facilitates unprecedented freedom in design and installation whilst maintaining uniformity of appearance.

Available in active configuration, modular format, ceiling or exposed installation.

Multi Service Chilled Beams

These custom-made chilled beams incorporate high output cooling coils, and integral primary air plenum chambers with discharge nozzles, and are designed to provide an all in one solution capable of incorporating any or all of the following :-

• Cooling
• Heating
• Ventilation
• Lighting – uplighting / downlighting / emergency
• Lighting Controls – dimmers.
• Power
• Communications
• Sensors – smoke / daylight / PIR
• Sprinkler Heads

Available in active and passive configurations, modular format, ceiling or exposed installation.

Active Chilled Beams

Active chilled beams incorporate high output cooling coils, and integral primary air plenum chambers with side located discharge nozzles. The nozzles discharge primary air, which in turn induces room air over the cooling coils. A wide range of discharge nozzle sizes provides a wide range of outputs to match the most demanding requirements. Available in active configuration, modular format, ceiling or exposed installation.

Passive Chilled Beams

Passive chilled beams incorporate high output cooling coils.

Available in passive configuration, modular format, recessed, ceiling or exposed installation.

  Independently tested to Eurovent standards.

Technical Support

Electronic Modelling: We are able to offer CFD modelling of clients
application to assist in the design process.

Mock-up & Testing: We are able to offer full-scale mock-up and testing
in our purpose-made test cells within our Research & Development
laboratories in Finland.

Thermodynamic and acoustic testing.
