Pipe construction:

Service pipes are offered in plastic materials and metal, depending on the required operating temperature, pressure and the manufacturing technologies available. New products and methods are constantly being developed in response to market needs. Energy-efficient, pentane-blow PUR insulation is used and this is fully bonded to the pipe and the durable outer casing. This construction ensures all pipes have the highest integrity and lowest energy loss. Leak detection is available with metal pipes.

Jointing and systems:

To complement the quality of the pipes, a wide range of jointing methods, fittings and insulating shells and muffs are available. Fittings & Joints: a full range of bends, elbows, tees and house entry bends are offered. Joints are high quality press fittings, fusion welded or site welded. Press jointing tools are available for hire. New clip shells for CALPEX are highly insulated, quick to install and avoid any hot works on site.

Size and delivery format:

Flexible pipes can be delivered on long coils (up to 100mm internal bore) to ensure quick installation, narrower trenches and minimal number of underground joints. Larger sizes of pipe are supplied in straight lengths of up to 12m.

Supply and support:

In the UK, we supply direct to the customer and direct to site for installation by an appropriate contractor. Our sales office will assess your requirement and offer advice and guidance as required. Training on installation techniques is offered as appropriate. PIPE2000 have been distributing BRUGG pipes in the UK for over 15 years and can offer practical advice based on site realities. Worldwide, many thousands of projects have been successfully implemented using BRUGG pre- insulated pipes over three decades.

Underfloor Heating:

Well established as an energy efficient means of providing unobtrusive space heating within buildings. PIPE2000 have three decades experience of the practicalities of implementing successful UFH projects and of working with designers, consultants, contractors and other trades to achieve the expected result. Suitable for use with most heat sources (depending on the output required) such as conventional boilers, GSHP, ASHP and Heat Interface Units fed from District Heating networks.
