Dunham-Bush
Dunham-Bush offer a full range of packaged chillers and associated
products. The range utilises scroll and screw compressor technology
packaged with direct expansion or flooded evaporator designs. The
chillers can be configured to provide high efficiencies, low noise
and compact overall dimensions to suit most applications.
The range includes air cooled chillers, water
cooled chillers and heat pump versions of both, in selected models.
‘ICE-CEL®’ thermal storage systems including a range with integrated
chillers is also available for applications where electricity
supplies are restricted.
All chillers are capacity rated in accordance
with, and where appropriate tested to ARI standards. Dunham-Bush
have for many years been instrumental in initiating and promoting
the ARI standards for rating packaged chillers and offer a range of
products with excellent full and part load efficiencies confirmed by
ARI testing.
Dunham Bush Air & Water Cooled Packaged Chillers
Air Cooled Chillers
ACS 37-240 kW Cooling R407C
Air cooled packaged chillers, equipped with
multiple scroll compressors.
Units are configured with 2 or 3 refrigerant circuits. Compact
package design with low profile arrangement and optional low noise
version.
Direct expansion, multi circuit shell and tube evaporator. Air
cooled condenser.
ACHDX 188-799 kW Cooling R407C
Air cooled packaged chillers, equipped with 1 or
2 horizontal semi hermetic screw compressors on independent
refrigeration circuits.
Unloading is achieved by continuously variable slide valve.
Direct expansion, multi circuit shell and tube evaporator.
Air cooled condenser. Micro processor control as standard.
AFHX 300-1850 kW Cooling R134a
Air cooled packaged chillers, equipped with 1, 2,
or 3 horizontal semi hermetic screw compressors on a single
refrigeration circuit.
Single flooded evaporator which results in excellent full and part
load efficiency. Air cooled condenser.
Unloading is achieved by continuously variable slide valve and
compressor switching. Micro processor control as standard.
AFHX-HT 288-1654 kW Cooling R134a
High ambient capability and/or improved
efficiency.
Air cooled packaged chillers, equipped with 1, 2, or 3 horizontal
semi hermetic screw compressors on a single refrigeration circuit.
Single flooded evaporator which results in excellent full and part
load efficiency. Air cooled condenser with extended surface.
Unloading is achieved by continuously variable slide valve and
compressor switching. Micro processor control as standard.
Water Cooled Packaged Chillers
WCS 42-362 kW Cooling R407C
Water cooled packaged chillers, equipped with
multiple scroll compressors.
Units are configured with 2 or 3 refrigerant circuits.
Compact package design with optional low noise versions available.
Direct expansion, multi circuit shell and tube evaporator. Shell and
tube condenser.
WXC 217-668 kW Cooling R134a
Water cooled packaged chillers equipped with 1 or
2 horizontal semi hermetic screw compressors on a single
refrigeration circuit.
Single flooded evaporator which results in improved full and part
load efficiency.
Unloading is achieved by continuously variable slide valve, and
compressor switching to achieve excellent part load efficiencies.
WCHDX 182-689 kW R407C
Water cooled packaged chillers, equipped with 1
or 2 horizontal semi hermetic screw compressors on independent
refrigeration circuits.
Unloading is achieved by continuously variable slide valve.
Direct expansion, multi circuit shell and tube evaporator.
Air cooled condenser. Micro processor control as standard.
WCFX 195-1739 kW Cooling R134a
Water cooled packaged chillers, equipped with 1,
2, 3 or 4 medium screw compressors on a single refrigeration
circuit.
These units use a flooded evaporator which results in excellent full
and part load efficiency.
Water cooled condenser is an integral part of the unit.
Unloading is achieved by continuously variable slide valve, and
compressor switching controlled by Vision 2020i.
Controls - Vision 2020i
A micro processor controller is fitted as
standard or is available as an option on all Dunham-Bush package
chiller and heat pump models. The Vision 2020i controller is
available with a choice of displays including a 144mm touch screen.
Remote monitoring and control via the internet is
available with the NETVISOR system, and a GSM modem enables remote
access. Where control and monitoring of several units is required a
LAN can be setup to allow multiple unit sequencing and control,
avoiding the need for additional hardware.
Heat Pumps
A range of air to water heat pumps with
capacities up to 880 kW and water to water units up to 2600 kW are
available from the standard product range. These units offer compact
design and exceptional opportunities for energy reduction.
ICE-CEL®
The integrated Ice-Thermal storage systems are
available in 4 sizes with nominal capacities from 422 kWh to 844 kWh
total storage. Thermal storage can be operated in full or partial
melt modes providing a solution where electrical supply is limited
or where ‘off peak’ tariffs are available.
The Dunham-Bush range includes Fan Coil Units and
Air Handing Units.
