leaving temperatures and ESEER values up to 4.38.

Ground Source Heat Pumps
With nominal heating capacities from 6.5kW to 1700kW
Designed for residential, commercial and
industrial applications, including radiant heating ones and under
floor ones, these Rhoss water to water heat pumps can be equally
applied to ground source applications. Utilising scroll compressor
technology each, depending on the model, has between one and four
compressors to allow up to four capacity steps.
Hybrid 2 & 4 Pipe Air & Ground Source Heat Pumps
with Heating & Cooling Capacities up to 650kW
The EXP Hybrid Heat Pump System, designed and
patented by Rhoss, has been developed to satisfy chilled and hot
water demands simultaneously or independently with one single unit
according to the operating mode chosen. It will operate with a 2 or
4 pipe wet system at any time of the year.
Air conditioning and the production of hot water
in a 2 pipe system is a typical application in hotels, hospitals,
sports centres and hospitality structures. In automatic mode it can
be used in summer months for air conditioning and the production of
hot water for sanitary applications.
Increasingly frequently, modern HVAC
installations require the simultaneous production of hot and chilled
water. In these situations, Rhoss Hybrid heat pumps can be used
throughout the year, providing for simultaneous or separate hot and
chilled water demands to supply cooling or heating systems in a
completely automatic way.
Turbo Power R134A Air Cooled Chillers with
Turbocor Centrifugal Compressors & Capacities from 150kW to 2100kW
Manufactured around the revolutionary Turbocor
oil free centrifugal compressor this chiller range offers
unprecedented levels of energy efficiency when compared with
conventional screw, scroll or reciprocating compressors.
Turbocor chillers are such an important step
forward for energy efficiency, since in its target capacity range,
there is no other compressor currently on the market that produces
better full and part load efficiency.
It is though the seamless integration of the
Turbocor compressor with new heat exchange and control technology,
which is providing outstandingly reliable operating efficiencies.
High points of the High Efficiency Turbo Power
chillers include:
- An EER in excess of 8 at part load conditions
and up to 4 at full load, representing an efficiency increase of
more than 100% & up to 10% respectively on conventional chillers
- Magnetic compressor bearings which have friction
losses typically 500 times less than traditional oiled bearings,
reducing starting current to just 2A
- An oil free compressor avoids the need for an oil
management system & the inherent costs of maintenance
- Micro channel condenser coils increase performance by
up to 45%, providing further energy savings by reducing the capacity or
number of fans required
- Flooded type evaporator specially designed for R134A
& more efficient than a direct expansion shell and tube evaporator
