Dachs mini-CHP Units - Combined Heating and Power
Baxi-SenerTec UK, a Baxi Group company, is the UK’s leading supplier

The principle of mini-CHP is extremely simple. Like a boiler, a CHP
engine heats the heating system water to approximately 80°C, but at the
same time it generates electricity. By scheduling the CHP unit as the
‘lead’ boiler, the energy is generated more efficiently and the heating
boiler is prevented from starting up unnecessarily.
The Dachs is equipped with the latest G83/1 grid interface which allows
the 3-phase electrical output to be connected directly to the building’s
electrical distribution panel. Electricity generated by the Dachs will
be fed into the building’s circuits and any excess will be exported to
the grid.
