As part of our development plan we continue to take an ever increasing role within our memberships of the CSA, BSRIA and HVCA where we are represented on a number of committees. Health and Safety has always been of paramount importance to us, having been members of RoSPA for many years, Ashford is CHAS Certified and SafeContractor accredited. We are also quality assurance certified to BS EN ISO 9001:2008.

Ashford continues to influence the industry with input into the rewrites of industry guides and standards. The latest include: BSRIA application guides BG 2/2010 Commissioning Water Systems, AG1/2001.2 Pre-commission Cleaning of Pipework Systems, CIBSE Commissioning Code W Water distribution systems and BS 8552 Water Sampling in Buildings.

Staff training has always been a high priority with the NVQ accredited CSA distance learning programme and BTech direct college placements being supplemented by a structured mentoring and management development plan created by our own in house HR department. We also sponsor a number of students to study to degree level at the Southbank University London. Ashford is also leading the way in creating a structured learning programme for flushing and pre-commission cleaning technicians through the Commissioning Specialists Association.
