Class O Armaflex – Thermal Insulation & Ductwork Insulation

Class O Armaflex, the leading closed cell pipe and duct insulation for controlling condensation and preventing energy losses, now comes with inbuilt anti-microbial protection!

In-built Microban® technology gives Class O Armaflex an added level of protection against harmful microbes such as bacteria, mould and mildew.

Because it’s built in during the manufacturing process, Microban antimicrobial product protection won’t wear off.

Armaflex is a closed cell, CFC free (ozone depletion potential of zero) elastomeric nitrile rubber material made in tube and sheets form for insulating new or existing pipework, ducts and vessels.

The recommended operating temperature range of -50°C to +105°C enables Armaflex to be used on chilled water lines, air conditioning ductwork and refrigerated pipework. It can also be used with heating systems and hot and cold water services.

HT/Armaflex

The special advantage of HT/Armaflex insulation material is its UV resistance. Therefore HT/Armaflex can be installed outside without additional protective measures.

HT/Armaflex also withstands a temperature range of -50°C to +150°C, making this product ideal for all sectors where extreme temperature conditions apply.

HT/Armaflex provides protection against diffusion of water vapour as a closed-cell material and features all the properties which you can expect from a flexible insulation material, such as low thermal conductivity and good behaviour in fire.

Arma-Chek – Covering Systems

Arma-Chek is a covered insulation system that withstands even extreme conditions and meets the highest demands. This was originally developed for use on drilling rigs, although it is also excellently suited for other industrial plants, such as those in the chemical and petrochemical industry or shipbuilding.

The system is based on the highly successful Armaflex flexible insulation with a range of strong and durable wet and dry coverings.

This unique combination offers the key benefits of resistance to weather and impact as well as flame spread, thermal conductivity and the ingress of water vapour – giving outstanding performance and maximum protection against under insulation corrosion.

ArmaSound RD – Acoustic Insulation

ArmaSound RD is a versatile acoustic absorber designed for use in a variety of different acoustic applications. A high performance sound absorber which also offers additional barrier (transmission loss) performance and both vibration damping and de-coupling (isolation) properties.

Delivering optimal performance at lower thicknesses than traditional materials, ArmaSound RD is a uniquely advanced open cell acoustic insulation material. With a peak absorption frequency determined by the insulation thickness and the material density, ArmaSound RD can be engineered to target specific problem frequencies.
