Sectional Storage Tanks -
AQUASTOW
Panels are manufactured by the Hot Press Moulding process for
optimum engineered precision and high performance finish at a
closely controlled temperature of 140ºC.
Mechanised production process ensures guaranteed manufacturing
tolerances of +/- 0.5mm.
Aquastow's precisely formulated sheet moulding compound provides a
smooth, crevice-free panel surface that is impervious on all sides.
All Aquastow mouldings are UV stabilised conforming to BS 5734 :
Part 5.
The Aquastow tank bracing design eliminates "point loads".
AQUATHERM Insulated Panels are supplied with a waterproof skin with
a calculated heat transmittance of 0.489 w/m² ºC.
Tanks can be erected on screeded bases, steel beams or piers.
In order to meet individual needs of each installation design, a
wide range of optional accessories are available including ball
valve boxes, cat and mouse indicators, remote gauges, access door
designs etc.
Approvals
SPRINKLER TANKS to 1300m³ approved by BRE/LPCB (Approval No.
065a/01).
SECTIONAL WATER TANKS for Domestic Cold Water Storage tested and
approved by the Water Regulations Advisory Service.
QUALITY ASSURED
One Piece Storage Tanks -
DURABLE
The water tanks are formed as one piece or split mouldings
manufactured from unsaturated polyester resin, reinforced with glass
fibre to BS/EN 13280:2001.
Tanks are unaffected by extremes of temperature.
Durable tanks are tested and approved by the Water Regulations
Advisory Service.
With the awareness of legionella and water borne health hazards, the
interior surfaces are smooth with generous radii to facilitate
official and thorough cleaning.
The availability of the pre-insulated tanks enables stored water to
be protected against heat gain, keeping water below the recommended
20ºC as protection
against legionella.
Inner surfaces are Isophthalic gel coated approved by the Water
Research Centre for storage of portable water.
Rectangular containers, with non-standard shapes and sizes are
available to order.
Internal surfaces are smooth with generous radii, external, natural
lay up finish.
To comply with the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999
all tanks are available with lids, vents, warning pipes and screened
overflow.
Durable tanks will not react to any materials or jointing compounds
approved for the use in water supply and storage. If chemicals are
to be stored in our vessels, consult us prior to ordering for
technical advice.
