Increasingly stringent legislation and escalating fuel costs makes the need for renewable and energy efficient heating solutions top of the agenda for many applications. Whether for new build or retro fit, domestic or non domestic installations, Dimplex can offer the complete solution including renewable heating in the form of heat pumps and solar hot water and for commercial applications only – energy efficient air curtains.
Dimplex has the widest range of heat pumps in the UK and over 30 year’s manufacturing experience. We offer air source heat pumps for indoors or outdoors, with capacities from 6-60kW and domestic, commercial, medium temperature and reversible ranges. In ground source, capacities range from 4-130kW and we have domestic, commercial, high temperature and reversible ranges. Many products are MCS certified.
In addition to the heating system, we also manufacturer the SmartRad fan convector range. Designed for low water temperature operation, it is the ideal heat pump partner, as it allows the heat pump CoP to be optimised. SmartRad is more energy efficient than conventional radiators with a fast response/room heat up time due it low water content. It is also a cost effective alternative to under floor heating.
As part of our Ec-Eau range, Dimplex can also provide unvented stainless steel cylinders for heat pumps. With large, high surface area heat exchanges, specifically sized to match the requirements of our heat pumps, the cylinders optimise heat pump efficiency and reduce running costs. All cylinders within the Ec-Eau range also boast 60mm of low GWP insulation foam, recessed immersions and thermostats and a sleek black outer shell manufactured from completely recycled materials.

With two types of flat plate collector and an evacuated tube option, together with a choice of hydraulic packs containing pump station and controller, Dimplex solar thermal solutions offer performance combined with improved flexibility, allowing specifiers to create a system that is right for their installation.
Our cost-effective SOLC201 flat plate collector is suitable for vertical or horizontal on-roof mounting of up to four panels in series, making it ideal for domestic use like our premium SOLC200. Both can be used with a choice of either the premium SOLPU1 pump station or our new cost effective SOLPU0, providing increased flexibility where budgets are limited. Dimplex’s new evacuated tube collectors deliver excellent transfer of solar energy to heat, thanks to a vacuum incorporated inside the tubes to insulate against heat loss caused by cold, wet and windy weather. Available in a choice of 20 or 30 tube options, the direct flow system is quick and easy to install and can be mounted horizontally, vertically, or on flat roofs and facades.
Our extensive air curtain portfolio includes surface and recess mounted air curtains using electric heat, water heat or as ambient units for commercial and heavy commercial applications. We also offer a range of bespoke architectural units (see pic) that are perfect for applications where design requirements are of particular importance and a range of heavy duty industrial products designed for the largest openings.
With express direct delivery to installation site and up to 3 year warranties, these products represent peace of mind as well as efficient performance. All Dimplex air curtain ranges are supplied as standard with energy saving controls complete with a BMS/BEMS connection for integrated control with other equipment, which not only helps reduce energy consumption, but also capital costs as many manufacturers charge separately for this feature.
