The Eaton-Williams Cooling Distribution Unit (CDU) together with their Rear Door Heat Exchanger (RDHx) will deliver energy savings of 40% plus when compared with conventional chilled water systems of the same duty.

System Concept

Water from a dedicated chiller is supplied to a Cooling Distribution Unit (CDU) which in turn supplies a separate circuit of chilled water above dew point to a number of Rear Door Heat Exchangers. In this way, the risk of condensation and fluctuations in temperature are removed.

Connectivity

Volt Free Contacts

Volt free contacts allow remote indication of the two alarm levels of the CDU.

MODBUS

The gateway allows any control and monitoring system that supports the MODBUS serial protocol to interface to and monitor up to 8 EWPC CDUs.

Webserver

The Eaton-Williams web server and web server/MODBUS combination kit each provide SNMP agent support that enables network management systems to monitor attached CDU units.
