The BRE Environmental Assessment
Method is one of the best known schemes for the assessment and certification of
sustainable buildings. Its labels, from PASS to OUTSTANDING (a level added in
2008), are recognised by engineers, architects and clients alike, which makes
BREEAM a very useful tool for construction teams looking to find a way to define
and measure the sustainability of their projects.
