Apollo Fire Detectors has specialised in the design and manufacturing of high quality fire detection products since 1980. In that time, the company has broadened its capability from a straightforward focus on conventional fire detectors, to the manufacture of sophisticated analogue addressable detectors and interfaces.
Apollo applies the most modern production techniques and has invested in sophisticated manufacturing equipment to ensure consistent high quality products and fast response to customer requirements. Through planned expansion, Apollo has reached a leading global position in the market for professional fire detection. With over 3,000 international approvals, regional offices in the UK, America, China, Dubai, Germany & India along with direct trade into more than 100 countries, Apollo has cemented its position as a world-class fire solutions provider
Apollo is part of the Halma group of companies. Halma is a FTSE top 250 listed PLC with over 40 subsidiaries worldwide, all engaged in specialist engineering activities.
The SOTERIA® detection range represents the next generation in fire recognition technology and is designed to improve detection, reduce false alarms and deliver improved reliability.
Discovery is a range of high-specification, intelligent fire detectors developed to meet the requirements of sophisticated systems while providing Engineers with an additional dimension in fire protection capability.

Intelligent Manual Call Points
The call points include a number of features designed to make installation and testing quick, easy and cost effective.
Series 65 incorporates well-proven sensing technologies together with advances in materials and electronics.
Orbis is a modern and stylish conventional range developed with sophisticated technology previously only found in analogue addressable detectors. Orbis has been designed to make installation, commissioning and maintenance fast and simple.
Two-Wire AlarmSense® has been developed to make the design and installation of a fire detection and alarm system easier and more cost-effective for small to medium sized buildings.
Wireless - XPander
XPander has been designed for use in areas where hard-wired fire detection is impossible or impractical, such as historic buildings, remote annexes and temporary structures.
Apollo offer several types of detector for specialist applications including Duct Detectors, Flame Detectors, Beam Detectors and Aspirating Smoke Detectors. These are all designed for very specific circumstances covering commercial heating and ventilation ducts, dirtier environments where flaming fires may be expected and protection of large open spaces.
Visual Alarm Devices
The VAD has been developed as a primary or supplementary alarm device for use in situations where there is a risk that sounders will not be heard. This occurs, for example, where there is a high background noise e.g. in a workshop or a machine room.
Sounders & Visual Indicators
Apollo offer a wide range of Audio Visual (AV) signalling devices – sounders, visual indicators, sounder visual indicators and sounder visual indicator bases for use in conjunction with their range of conventional and intelligent detectors.
