Wheelchair Ramp for Disabled Access
Roll-a-Ramp supply wheelchair ramps to make life accessible. The ramps
provide a new concept in small, lightweight, portable portable ramps and
solve access problems at home and away.
Roll-a-Ramp acts as a safe and strong portable wheelchair ramp that sets up
and stores away easily. Lightweight and easy to carry, this roll-up ramp
system allows convenient wheelchair access to and from any vehicle, building
or home. When rolled up Roll-a-Ramps can easily be placed in the boot of a
car or hatchback for transportation. This reduces the worry of not having
ready access to buildings, homes of friends and relatives or access to
hotels etc., when on holiday.
Roll-a-Ramps are constructed from high tensile anodised aerospace aluminium
making them relatively lightweight and manageable for a carer or friend to
deploy.
Setting up could not be easier. Simply unroll the disabled ramp and place the top
tread on to the step.
The Roll-a-Ramp is now fully ready for use. Roll-a-Ramps are available in
either 12" (30.48cm) width pairs or single width ramps of 30" (76.2cm) wide.
The pairs will take a load of up to 907kg (1 ton) whilst the single width
ramp can hold up to 450kg (½ a ton). Ramps can be supplied in any length
requested. Roll-a-Ramps have built in "side rails" to help prevent wheels
easily rolling off the edge.
The length of the Roll-a-Ramp can be easily adjusted by the addition or
removal of the treads. These are in 6" ( 15.25cm ) sections which are easily
removed or added by the use of an allen key and spanner (provided). This
means that should you change the location of the ramp or require a greater
or lesser gradient you do not have to buy a whole new set.
