Crimeshield is the only way of protecting doors and windows in an architectural unobtrusive way.

Crimeshield unobtrusively protects property and glazing by preventing access to windows. It is insurance approved, which will save you money on your premiums, and can also be a more economical proposition than conventional window protection.

Key technical data is outlined below:

Barrier
2mm thick galvanised steel sheet with a matrix of perforations to provide a 60% free area.
Coating - full polyester external grade sandwich locked into two piece aluminium frame system.

Frame
Architecturally designed heavy gauge two piece aluminium extrusion mitred, keyed and welded. Finished in black electrostatically applied and baked powder coating - full polyester external grade. Optional frame colours available with relevant colour reference.

Fixing
Various options dependent on window type. Most common fixing types are inset mount (between reveals) and face fix direct to window frames, though many other options may be considered.

Quality
Crimeshield is manufactured to ISO9002 Quality Assurance with an unconditional 5 year guarantee.

Integrity
Crimeshield is tested and accredited to LPS1175 level one by the Loss Prevention Council.

With Crimeshield there are no unsightly iron bars, steel mesh or expanded metal, which in many cases does not even protect the glass.
Crimeshield doesn't disguise the attractiveness of existing windows whether classical or contemporary, traditional or modern. It is a durable metal screen mounted in front of or behind existing windows. It is not a film or a fly screen.

Crimeshield window barriers transmit in excess of 60% of incidental light and '60% free area' means plenty of air flow and visibility. The pattern fools the eye into focussing on the exterior view so that there's no 'closed-in' or 'institutional' feeling. Light, Airy and Open Views are important aspects in controlling 'personal environment' for occupant comfort.

From a distance Crimeshield merely gives the impression that the windows are fitted with tinted glass; but at close quarters it's a visible deterrent to would-be burglars or glass smashing vandals.
Crimeshield unobtrusively protects property and glazing by preventing access to windows. An optional quick release mechanism is available if required for emergency escape.

Manufacture and installation (to all customers requirements) can often be a more economical proposition then frequently replacing the glazing or paying increased insurance premiums.

Crimeshield is manufactured to ISO 9002 Quality Assurance, and certified to LPS 1175 level one. More recently, Crimeshield achieved the S.B.D. Secured By Design Police Preferred Product.
