Initially focused on drainage, our product portfolio gradually expanded as it became apparent that the unique properties of stainless steel are ideal for a range of products and applications, providing a commercial solution for industries where stainless steel drainage channels are a requirement.

Stainless Steel Drainage Channels

What is a Drainage Channel? A channel within the floor, to reduce the number of individual drainage points.

The system is designed with gratings to allow drainage into the stainless steel channel, while carrying various loads. The channel is manufactured from stainless steel to create a water tight system that can include a built-in fall to any number of outlet options.

Component Developments offer a comprehensive range of stainless steel drainage channels to suit any application and floor finish, combined with the ability to produce bespoke systems to meet site requirements.

All our stainless steel drainage channels are designed to be used in conjunction with the 5000 series gullies, with the 3000 and 6000 series both utilising the 4000 series gratings.

Channels are manufactured from austenitic stainless steel grade 304 of 316 to BS 1449 part 2 1983 in lengths only limited by transportation and site logistics.

Gratings

The Component Developments’ comprehensive range of stainless steel gratings are used in conjunction with the series 3000 and 6000 channels, series 5000 gullies and 4001 grating frame assemblies.

Gullies

• The Component Developments 5000 series of gullies are designed to be used as individual drainage points or in conjunction with the 3000, 3600 and 6000 series drainage channel systems.
• Their design dispenses with the need for additional rodding points and provides the specifier with a rugged, durable, hygienic product which can meet almost any performance and design requirement.
• The gullies provide easy access for cleaning and inspection and therefore suitable for use in many applications including kitchens, bakeries, abattoirs, dairies and food processing plants.
• Gullies are height adjustable for ease of installation and incorporate removable gratings, odour traps, rodding ports and waste baskets, allowing full bore access.
• Additional standard fittings to compliment site and clients requirements include D.P.M clamping flanges, back inlet pipes, tundishes and sealed cover plates.

Rodding Eyes

Component Developments range of stainless steel sealed rodding eyes are designed to suit most specifications. Each rodding eye includes anchor tangs, and is available with either a vertical or 45 degree angled outlet spigot.

Options include:

• Vinoseal clamping flange.
• Heavy duty cover.
• Non-slip, treadsafe finish.
• Outlet diameters of 82mm, 110mm and 160mm.
• Material grade 304 or 316 stainless steel.

Manhole Covers

Component Developments offer two types of manhole cover and frame manufactured from stainless steel, for use internally, both include locking assemblies, lifting keys and are double sealed.

Choosing which type of cover is required simply depends upon the floor finish.

Surface Protection

Component Developments’ range of Corner Guards, Cappings and Buffer Rails in austenitic stainless steel provide surface protection wherever corners and edges are vulnerable to impact damage.

Profiles are designed to suit a wide range of wall finished, including tiles, fair-face blockwork and pvc sheeting.

Secret post fixings are available.
