and space delineators. With over 20 years experience in the UK Shutter and Grille
industry, Simflex offers eleven different folding grille and closure models of
superior quality and design.

SIMPLICITY - Suspended from
a continuous overhead track, they are easily operated single-handed, even in very
large spans. Gliding smoothly from side to side, either stacking in-line or remotely,
clear of the entrance, these are the most compact folding closures on the market.
FLEXIBILITY - Using a selection of stock straight and curved
sections together with our ability to form any special curves down to 356mm minimum
radius, it is possible to follow any curve or profile. Ideal for following faceted
store fronts, bar tops etc in continuous uninterrupted single spans. The flexibility
and mobility of our folding products provides limitless options for imaginative
design layouts to suit any shape or length.
BENEFITS - Only
42mm headroom is needed for the top track, there are no floor tracks. There are
no removeable mullions or posts to contend with since all the lock members and
other components are integral. All our folding grille and closure systems are
surprisingly lightweight, reducing the need for expensive elaborate overhead supporting
structures.
Only available with manual slide aside operation, there are no
costly motors, winches or springs to go wrong. Without any planned or scheduled
maintenance or service requirements, our folding systems are virtually maintenance
free. Cost effective value for money in an attractive choice of models. With a
choice of four different patterns, this attractive open style of grille is cost
effective and rugged.

DESIGN CHOICE - With eleven
different standard models to choose from we have the product to suit almost any
indoor application. Glazed with tempered glass or Lexan polycarbonate transparent
sheet, solid aluminium panels, micro-perforated steel sheet or seven different
grille patterns. Available in any length or shape, most models can be supplied
up to 4000mm high.

enclosed retail and public environments. For instance: retail malls, airport terminals,
superstores, in-store concessions, counter tops & bars, bank lobbies & ATM areas,

SOLID
STEEL SHUTTERS - A strong, solid roll-up door for internal or external
use. Available for manual push-up operation up to 2.75m wide: motorised up to
maximum single spans of 6m wide. Options include keyswitch, push button or radio
control.
PERFORATED STEEL SHUTTER - Constructed from a convex
steel lath profile with micro-perforations offering airflow and a degree of transparency.
Often chosen for use internally behind glass, as a primary entrance door or to
protect doorways and glazing externally. Manual push-up operation up to 2.75m
wide; motorised up to 6m wide with a variety of control options including keyswitch,
push button or radio control. A secure barrier offering point of sale visibility.
SOLID ALUMINIUM SHUTTERS - With extruded flat interlocking lath
sections providing a roll-up curtain for use as a primary entrance door in enclosed
environments, on bar counter tops, food halls and cloakrooms. Lightweight, neat
and tidy. Also available with 'mini-punch' perforations and punched/slotted alternatives.
BRICKBOND ROLLING GRILLE - Traditional design also available
with ‘in-line’ tube and link design. Specify steel or aluminium construction.
A reliable see-through grille model for a wide range of internal or external applications.
Manual push-up operation up to 2.45m wide; motorised up to 3.5m wide with a choice
of operating options including keyswitch, push button or radio control.
HONEYCOMB
ROLLING GRILLE - Decorative and different. Sturdy construction from interlocking
aluminium flat bars. A high security grille for use on large or small openings
internally or externally. Manual push-up operation up to 5m wide with motorised
versions up to 6m wide. More rigid than other types of rolling grille and available
with the same choice of operating options.
PLASTIC LINK ROLLING GRILLE
- Ideal for use on counter tops, bars, servery’s, cloakrooms & receptions. High
impact polypropylene links hinged on internal steel rods providing a decorative
grille pattern. Plastic links are available in a choice of six standard colours
with aluminium guides and bottom rails supplied silver anodised (standard) or
powder coated (special). Manual push-up operation up to 2.45m wide: motorised
up to 3.5m wide.
GLAZED ROLLING GRILLE - A solid grille giving
the strength of a roller shutter whilst providing 60% see-throughness. Shatterproof
polycarbonate glazing is mounted into extruded interlocking aluminium flat lathes.
Manual push-up operation up to 3.5m wide; motorised up to 6.5m wide with a choice
of operating functions including keyswitch, push-button or radio control. | |
