Within the complex at the Riverside Business
Centre are modern manufacturing facilities including a polishing department and
full production facilities all designed to produce and supply high quality products
delivered on time and at competitive prices.
The company is large enough to
undertake the manufacture of high value contracts yet small and flexible enough
to service specific requirements for smaller volumes.
Dortrend technical staff
have vast experience in producing specials from customers drawings or sketches
and can manufacture using aluminium, brass or stainless steel.
Within the
last two years Dortrend has merged with Clifford Brothers and has acquired the
world famous Sadler Range of products. The company now offers an unrivalled variety
of products manufactured from aluminium, brass and 316 stainless steel, which
is guaranteed against corrosion for the life of the product.

Produced in 16mm, 19mm 20mm, 22mm
and 25mm diameter round bar available on either concealed or face fix plates.
All of our lever furniture can be supplied for bolt through fixing using a
'T' fix bolt.
All levers are spindle fixed using grub screws.

deep or slimline roses. Escutcheons to suit most applications, slimline, standard

Disabled Help
Although our range can be accurately described as user friendly, we have developed
a suite of products specifically to assist the disabled, including extended bathroom
turns which are easy to grip.
Our specially extended lever handle is easy
to operate with elbows, but safely returns to the door, to avoid catching clothing,
particularly sleeves and pockets.
As with most of our range, we can produce
special items to compliment our standard fittings to help the less able, and our
technical staff are always available to offer advice or review sketches/drawings
of products to meet special needs.

Sadler Range - The Sadler
Concept
The Sadler concept of architectural ironmongery, manufactured
by Dortrend International Ltd, includes the Sadler Suite, Sadler ‘M’ Series and
Sadler Brass.
The ranges have been used extensively in UK public and private
building projects. Since its inception in 1965, the Sadler Suite has been specified
in most overseas markets, and the modularity of its design and manufacture, together
with the introduction of the Sadler ‘M’ Series and the Sadler Brass, provide outstanding
flexibility of choice for the specifier to meet a wide spectrum of international
requirements. The system has been proven in use, and offers significant benefits
for specifiers and customers.
Cost-Effectiveness
The Sadler
range of products represents outstanding value for money, due particularly to
low maintenance costs and reliable performance. The concealed fixings method is
a feature of the designs and permits easy redecoration and is a deterrent to vandalism.
Bolt-through fixings and patented fixed spindles ensure good performance and durability

concept offers a range of fittings to cover a wide variety of door locking and
latching specification to suit most building applications. The accessories form

Design
Variations
The system offers a choice of style and consideration of
the ergonomic functions. The Sadler Suite is available in both aluminium and polished
brass and the Sadler ‘M’ Series in aluminium. There is a choice of two lever designs
and two knob styles. Both levers and knobs can be used with a wide range of accessories.
