Providing 'access for all' to offer unhindered access to everyone including
people with disabilities and those able bodied people hindered by pushing prams
and carrying shopping bags.
A simple cost effective solution, achieved by converting your
existing doors to semi-automatic operation, allows the door to be opened under
power when required and used manually at all other times Powered operation
controlled by a push pad or 'touch switch'. Meesons can also interpret the
generic requirements of our clients.

to the door opening. Only a 13amp socket is required to operate.

Counter Hampers
A Solution to ensure the safety of both employee and
customer.
Hampers have been developed by Meesons in partnership with clients and
Professional Ergonomists to satisfy Health & Safety regulations.
Our client required protection for the public from the
potential danger of a rising bandit screen incorporated in a bank counter.
The Counter Hamper System consists of fixed clear acrylic
panels 650mm high with moveable spring sections to alleviate possible injury to
customers when the fast rising screen is activated. They are installed at
critical distances from the rising screen element to further reduce risk of
injury during activation.
Other Benefits: Counter Hampers provide a visual 'Customer
User Friendly' deterrent to potential assailants. Hampers fitted with side arm
panels also enhance customer privacy whilst carrying out transactions.
Disability Discrimination Act
The Disability Discrimination Act 1995 introduced new laws
aimed at ending the discrimination that many people with disabilities face. The
Act gave people with disabilities new rights of access to goods, facilities and
services, as well as in employment and buying or renting property.
Secure Access System
Protecting staff and premises by way of an effective
automatic door access control system that provides flexibility and state of the
art technology to ensure the highest levels of security.
The Alluser Secure Access System is a fully programmable
cylindrical portal that can be designed with metal detection, physical attack or
bullet resistant glass and uni-directional or independently bi-directional
controls.
The system can be integrated with any access control system (including Biometric
& Metal Detection readers) and, to prevent piggy backing, sophisticated
ultrasound sensors scan the cabin for the presence of 2 or more people, denying
access if detected.
Smooth flow ensures traffic consistently moves through the
cabin at a rate of 240 - 300 people per hour. This figure can be multiplied
respectively with adjacent installations.
A new product line ensures that the Alluser Secure Access
System can be integrated within existing access control systems thus restricting
the need for major alterations and increasing economical value. Suitable for
operation in banks, laboratories, border points (including airports), embassies,
computer rooms and database centres, cash handling offices and other types of
business operations that demand secure access control procedures. DDA compliant
units are also available.
Staff Protection Glazing
In today's increasingly violent society, employees who work
in unprotected areas where money is readily available are frequently at risk
from robbery or violent attack.
Meesons glazing systems are designed to provide a high level
of protection against this type of physical or armed attack.
Protection is available to various levels ranging from 11.5mm physical attack
resistant glass, offering protection against attack with hammers, iron bars or
any other heavy object, through to 22mm glass polycarbonate offering bullet
resistant protection against shotgun or handgun attack to European Standard BR4.
Clients will select the level of glass performance following
a site risk assessment and the installation will mirror that risk, ranging from
a simple anti-vaulting glazing blade system through to a fully framed bullet
resistant enclosure.
Design solutions can incorporate security doors, cash
transfer scoops/trays and natural/active voice transfer systems.
Svalson Retractable Glazed Screens
Designed to meet the current need for open transaction
counters whilst still offering protection to staff against violence in high-risk
areas.
Svalson screens are available in Vertical or Horizontal configuration and can be
manufactured to suit size requirements for any given installation. Glazing
protection levels can be either Physical Attack Resistant, Bullet Resistant or
Fire Resistant.
All drive motors and control mechanisms are concealed within
the frame giving a fully integrated look to the completed installation.
Svalson screens are normally fitted to existing counterwork
and are therefore ideal for retrofit situations. Bespoke counterwork can be
supplied to customer specification to provide a complete package.
