The Fibrocem range of products have been developed over a 20 year period to provide a high performance architectural facade solution for general applications where its inherent abrasion, impact resistance, weather resistance, low maintenance and crack free characteristics in use, are combined with a superior finish.
The composition of Fibrocem enables the material to be used effectively for both site applied renders and coatings and for factory made castings.
The nature and stability of Fibrocem allows the material to be used for creating both contemporary and classical fine castings and mouldings.
Fibrocem is a ready mixed product requiring the addition of water to create the desired workable material for application. Fibrocem is available in classic, natural off white, using white portland cement and a range of colours.
Fibrocem has been formulated to be worked by trowel, wood or sponge float in much the same way as a normal render in accordance with British Standard Codes of practice for External Rendering and Internal Plastering.

High Impact Render Systems
Fibrocem High Impact render Systems are suitable for use in public places especially where resistance to vandalism is a primary requirement.  Fibrocem High Impact Render Systems are suitable for use on high impact surfaces and meets the specification given by the Home Office for use in custodial suites. Fibrocem High Impact Render Systems, high density provides superior durability and resistance to air-borne pollutants, making it particularly suitable for use in industrial environments.  Its high performance and resistance to shrinkage cracking mean that Fibrocem High Impact Render Systems can be applied to a solid backing as a two-coat system in all exposure zones.
The through coloured white finish of Fibrocem High Impact Render Systems requires little or no maintenance. This can result in lower whole life costs compared with white painted renders.
Fibrocem High Impact Render Systems are supplied pre-mixed in 25kg bags and only requires the addition of clean water. This specification complies with the general format of NBS Model Specification Section M20 Standard Works Version.

The coating systems help architects, facilities managers, building owners and surveyors to comply with Section B2 of the Building Regulations and fulfil their professional obligations under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order (RRFSO).

High Performance Architectural Facade Solution
Fibrocem Pliolite Based Facade Coating is a premium, solvent borne coating that is roller or spray applied formulated for exterior use on cement rendering, brick, roughcast and concrete. It provides a self-stabilising smooth matt finish that has excellent adhesion to previously painted surfaces.

The Pliolite resin enables application at temperatures down to -20c and becomes shower proof in 20 min, allowing all year round application.
