About us:
Pensher Skytech specialises
in the manufacture and installation of a range of metal doors, screens, windows,
curtain walling, and glazed structures. Specialist performance fenestration systems
include fire resistance, bomb blast resistance, bullet resistance, and vandal
resistance for both the on-shore and off-shore markets
Pensher was formed
in 1979 and has grown to its present size occupying 150,000 sq ft of production
area.
Recently Pensher acquired the intellectual property of established architectural
glazing company and high security specialists Skytech Forster to create Pensher
Skytech.
Architectural Glazing:
Pensher Skytech offer a technically
advances series of products which combine technology with design to meet the demands
of contemporary design and construction. Narrow sight lines and large span glazing
panels are achievable with steel and enhanced aluminium systems.
The Range
of Architectural Glazing from Pensher Skytech is limited only by the imagination
of the architect or designer. As is demonstrated by the photos on this site even
the most difficult geometric configurations are possible. These include structures
such as glazed, barrel vault, rooflight, pyramid, curtain wall, atrium and skylight
fabrications.
The most aesthetic designs of curtain walling, skylights, canopies,
pyramids, and glazed walkways can all be manufactured in aluminium, precision
mild steel, or stainless steel. Immense pride is taken by the workforce at all
levels in the production of quality fabrications many of which are considered
to be works of art.
Window, door, and curtain wall systems are available to
meet part L of the new building regulations. Many frame assemblies have a combined
value of 2.0Wm2K when used in conjunction with appropriate glazing. Systems are
also tested to meet stringent water-tightness criteria.
Challenging drainage
and structural interface details can be worked out by our technical support staff,
and excellent working drawings produced to take the strain from the project architect
or designer. Pensher Skytech have vast experience in the provision of automated
openers, ventilators, and shading systems to combine with the glazed structure
to enable the further modification of the built environment. Pensher Skytech technical
support is available from the concept stage to assist in design, and this continues
throughout the contract. Advice is always on hand particularly when performance
criteria is required for fire and high security situations. Systems have been
developed and can be seen elsewhere on this site showing our experience in ballistic
resistance, bomb blast resistance and extreme weather performance.
