Wall Protection Rails
Yeoman Shield
Protection Rails offer the utmost in protection and design. A 200mm wide protection
rail was originally introduced to prevent patient trolleys causing damage to corridor
walls. Although that rail was introduced over 30 years ago, its modern day equivalent
still remains the most popular style of protection. Times change and Yeoman Shield
Protection Rails are now available in 34 standard colours, a far cry from the
early days of restricted choice. Over 50 different ways to protect walls and doors
from damage have since evolved. The variety of rails and colours offers clients
the option of having a system that becomes an integral feature of the overall
design concept, or one that blends into the background. Handrails
Yeoman
Shield Handrails convey strength. The user must be confident that a handrail will
provide the necessary support. This is particularly important to the elderly and
infirm. Because our handrails are also designed for wall protection, their appearance
is visually assuring. A feature worth serious consideration is the use of contrasting
colour stop ends and corners, to help the visually impaired recognise openings
and changes in direction.

Yeoman Shield include
a variety of products designed to protect doors, corners, door edges, frames and
architraves, display cabinets etc. These products complement the use of other
protection within our range, or each may act individually to prevent damage.
Heavy
Duty Protection
Yeoman Shield Heavy Duty Protection systems are a range
of rubber products designed for use in areas that are subject to impact, particularly
head-on, from heavier vehicular traffic, such as forklift trucks, cars and lorries.
Rubber, not steel, should be used where there is also consideration to the offending
