systems ranging from 3mm to 13mm in thickness. Raychem have a system
suitable for all floor coverings. These can be installed on most
subfloor constructions, and under most floor finishes, including wood,
tile, laminate, vinyl, and carpet.
Raychem Smart thermostats complete the system and offer potential for
zoned, programmable heating control, a requirement of Part L of the
building regulations.

Ice & Snow Melting System
Ice and snow on paths, loading bays, driveways, ramps, stairs and
other access ways, can present major problems causing accidents and
delays. To help prevent this significant liability, Raychem provides a
complete range of energy efficient ground heating solutions to prevent
snow and ice formation.
Rather than a “one product fits all” approach, Raychem have developed a
range of products to suit all typical applications, whether being
installed in sand, concrete, or hot asphalt. The range includes:
EM2-XR (Formally known as Viagard) – Self regulating heating system.
EM2-MI – Mineral Insulated heating cable system for installation in hot
poured asphalt.
EM2-CM – Constant power robust polymeric heating mat for pathway and
track heating.
EM4-CW – Constant power robust heating cable for 400V applications.
Smart Control:
All of the above systems are completed with the VIA-DU-20 Smart
controller. This innovative and energy saving unit uses the input from
up to 3 sensors to ensure heat is delivered only when needed.
