Fluorescent Electronic Control Gear & Lighting Control Systems

products that are available: Halogen Lamps
OSRAM was the first manufacturer to create and
bring to market, a complete range of energy-saving halogen lamps.
The range consists of mains and low voltage versions. These offer
energy savings of up to 65% over conventional incandescent lamps and
up to 30% over existing halogen lamps. Savings can be calculated

Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFL's)
OSRAM DULUX® CFLs consume 80% less energy than
ordinary light bulbs. They last much longer and they can be used in
place of almost any ordinary light bulb due to their compact
dimensions.
OSRAM DULUX® CFLs are available in two versions;
‘retrofit’ (predominately for domestic use) and ‘pin-based’ (for use
in larger installations). Retrofit CFLs are designed to be direct
replacements for ordinary incandescent bulbs, where as ‘pin-base’
CFLs are designed for luminaires that have ‘pin base’ sockets.
Low Energy
Fluorescent Lighting Tubes
Fluorescent tubes produce 70% of artificial light
throughout the world and are used because they combine high luminous
efficacy with low power consumption. OSRAM LUMILUX® fluorescent
tubes provide up to 80% energy-savings over incandescent lamps. They
are available in variety of colours from SKYWHITE (8000K) to INTERNA
(2700K). The new T5 Seamless fluorescent tubes allow for continuous
light under coving erradicating dark spots between luminaires.
High Pressure Discharge (HPD) Lamps
High pressure discharge lamps are very efficient
because they generate an extremely high luminous flux in compact
dimensions. HPD lamps from OSRAM are used in display lighting
(retail outlets) and where bright light and long life are important
(factories, stadiums, street lighting). At the
forefront of metal halide technology is the OSRAM POWERBALL® HCI®
range of lamps. These innovative lamps have a patented spherical arc
tube that offer constant colour lighting throughout their lives, excellent
luminous efficacy and colour rendering. LED
Systems
OSRAM offers a wide range of LEDs; from single
LEDs and modules to complete LED systems, as well as LED retrofit
lamps. As a manufacturer we can provide carefully matched systems
from a single source. LED modules from OSRAM in particular make
installation and operation of these innovative light sources much
easier. With the DRAGON range of high output LED modules, very
effective lighting effects can be created.
Electronic Control Gear (ECG) & Energy Saving Lighting Control
Systems
Substantial lighting energy-savings can be made with the
latest OSRAM ECG technology when used in conjunction with
OSRAM lamps because they extend lamp life by more than 50%. Extended
lamp life means reduced waste disposal of about 30%.
ECG from OSRAM are noted for their state of the
art circuit design and high quality components. They achieve their
optimum functionality when operating as a system in conjunction with
OSRAM lamps as they are always perfectly matched to one another.
