Gent Fire Alarms Fire Detection
As you would expect from the fire industry’s leading manufacturer,
Gent is setting the standard again with its ground breaking LPCB
approved S-Quad multi-sensor device.
Every S-Quad sensor can include integrated speech messaging and sounder
functionality as well as a high intensity, flashing strobe.
Four in One - Fire Detection
Given the breadth of capabilities within one single device, the
S-Quad needs less cabling and fewer termination points during
installation helping to make it the most intelligent and cost effective
solution for the detection and signalling of fires.
In addition, every single S-Quad has a built-in isolator to help
maintain the integrity of the system at all times. It’s just one single
device fast and easy to install.
No More False Alarms - Fire Alarm Systems
S-Quad sensors recognise a clear distinction between nuisance steam
and dust and real smoke – effectively putting an end to false alarms.
S-Quad’s four separate sensing elements – heat, carbon monoxide, forward
optical and backward optical scatter – combine to eliminate false alarms
whilst improving the speed of detection.
Comply Don’t Fry
S-Quad’s integrated sounder, speech and strobe functionality ensures
that you comply with the fire detection and alarm requirements for the
DDA part III.
S-Quad’s sounder and strobe outputs more than meet the levels required
by BS 5839 and the Building Regulations Approved Document M. All strobes
and sounders on any system are fully synchronised by the Vigilon control
panel.
Quality & Freedom of Choice
Crucially Gent recognises that customers do not want to be locked
into contracts with system manufacturers who do not offer an opportunity
to shop around for a good service or maintenance deal.
Gent’s managed protocol approach offers customers a choice from over 50
trained and approved Gent experts – the Gent 24 Network of Approved
System Integrators. For a list of Gent 24 Approved System Integrators,
