Chloride
Static UPS & Parallel UPS - Uninterruptible Power Systems
Chloride is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers
and suppliers of Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS). Established
in 1891, Chloride offers a comprehensive range of UPS (from 300 VA
up to 9.6 MVA in parallel) and static transfer switches from 15 A to
1250 A. Complete critical power solutions including diesel
generators, switchgear and associated ancillaries can also be
offered. Chloride designs, manufactures and
supplies both stand alone and modular three-phase UPS systems
offering the flexibility to select the system that will satisfy both
your current and future requirements. All Chloride UPS are designed
to operate in parallel (typically up to 8 modules) so that your
system can grow as your load grows and can be arranged in a variety
of different redundant configurations to offer the operational
availability you require.
Chloride UPS are always designed to a high
performance standard. Offering class leading efficiency to reduce
operating costs, they also include full lead/lag load power factor
capability without de-rating and provide the lowest levels of input
current distortion. With some of the smallest footprints in the
industry these UPS are also ideal for supporting applications where
space is at a premium. Trinergy from 200 kVA to
1200 kVA parallelable up to 9.6 MVA
Trinergy is a unique modular high power UPS which
incorporates the three industry standard operating configurations in
one single system design: i.e. Maximum Power Control (VFI), High
Efficiency and Power Conditioning (VI), Maximum Energy Savings (VFD).
The system control allows the UPS to switch seamlessly between the
different operating modes, to optimise operating efficiency whilst
continuing to maintain maximum power protection.
Trinergy UPS can scale to 1.2 MVA in a single
string by adding six 200 kVA modules side-by-side. Up to 8 complete
UPS systems can be put in parallel to scale up to 9.6 MVA of power.
Trinergy allows businesses to flexibly expand their power protection
systems at the same pace as their evolving load requirements.
90-NET from 250 kVA to 800 kVA
The 90-NET UPS provides single module ratings to
800 kVA and is the standard choice for the very largest of data
centre applications. Operating in either centralised mode (with
reserve static switch ratings to 6000 A) or modular parallel
arrangement, or combinations of both for high fault configurations (HFC)
the 90-NET has been deployed in site wide applications in excess of
50 MW. Operating with Chloride’s unique vector control and digital
signal processing the 90-NET has the control technology to match its
power capability.
80-NET from 60k VA to 200 kVA
Utilising the very latest IGBT rectifier and
inverter designs this transformer-free UPS technology draws 20% less
input current than a standard UPS system. With the very highest of
operating efficiencies (up to 95% online), together with unity input
power factor and sinusoidal input current (3% THDi) this design
reduces switchgear ratings, cable sizes and maximises usable power
from the supply. In all the 80-NET provides the optimum whole life
UPS product solution.
MP-NET from 20 kVA to 120 kVA
The MP-NET modular UPS is a truly scalable
modular system. It can grow in 20 kVA increments to 120 kVA to match
your evolving load requirements. (Up to 4 systems can then be
paralleled to provide 480 kVA or 460 kVA N+1). The 20 kVA power
modules can be easily exchanged between systems to flexibly tailor
UPS capacity to meet changing demands and simplify maintenance
without taking any systems offline.
