UPS Dual Output Design Guide - Performance Data - Ratings - Dimensions
The Dual Output Diesel UPS system is designed to replace the traditional Standby Diesel, Static/Rotary UPS and battery configuration.
By rating the diesel engine and alternator to supply the total site loads the system can provide the UPS requirements on a continuous basis, while allowing the standby loads to be re-connected within a few seconds of any Mains failure.
The Dual Output System can then effectively perform the functions of both UPS and genset within one integrated unit, which can release the space traditionally required for the central static/rotary UPS, batteries, switchgear and associated air conditioning equipment. This can represent up to 60% of the overall space allocated for the service requirements.

Each Hitec Dual Output UPS Sytem has the ability to clear fuses of up to 100% of the UPS output whilst maintaining the output voltage within the specified tolerances.
The Hitec Dual Output Diesel system does not incorporate an input rectifier as with static systems therefore the reflected harmonics onto the mains utility are negligible and within the requirements outlined in the Electricity Association’s regulations G5/4.
The Hitec Dual Output Diesel system is a low impedance source and is therefore able to supply non linear loads without de-rating or the addition of filters.
