NEW BUSBAR SALES OFFICE
OPENS 15/8/05
Since acquiring the Barduct brand of Busbar in July 04, Siemens are investing in new ISO 9001 factories and facilities both in the UK and Europe. As part of this investment, the current Siemens Busbar sales office will relocate from Aylesbury, to the Automation & Drives Headquarters in Manchester from 15 August 2005.
UK services that can be provided include rapid quotations, CAD design, project engineering, modshop, and UK stock of standard products.

The Siemens Busbar ranges include; CDK – 25-40 Amps Lighting Busbar BD01 – 40-160 Amps Small Power Busbar BD2 – 160-1250 Amps medium power distribution and riser Busbar LD – 1100 Amps – 5000 Amps air insulated power distribution Busbar LX – 800 – 6300 Amps Sandwich construction Interconnecting Busbar PEC – 800-6000 Amps Cast Resin Busbar for use in harsh environments will be marketed in the future as Sivacon 8PS This will also enable Siemens to make best use of synergy with its Sivacon Low Voltage Switchgear ranges, and circuit breaker technologies.
