The presentation covers: Why do we need fuel oils & acid leak detection? The Environmental Pollutions Authority (EPA) and National Rivers Authority (NRA). What are the current standard methods for leak detection - SCADA, pressure decay, volume make-up and tracer gas. What are the emerging technologies - fibre optic sensing systems, low power electrical cables and TraceTek. Look at how to detect fuel leaks early and locate the leak with precision. What are the applications and how do we design a system to cover them?
