Schneider Electric- Active harmonic mitigation
Active harmonic mitigation
Since harmonic
interference is a rapidly growing problem and harmonics are generated by most of
the equipment used in our working environment, one needs to comply with
regulations and standards with set limits for such pollution. Various passive
solutions can be used to reduce the effects and propagation of harmonics.
However, active mitigation is preferred by engineers because of the unique
benefits of such an approach. This paper describes a choice of solutions,
functionality and installation guidance for active mitigation.
