A seminar to explain the standards for emerging structured cabling and
containment systems.
Recent developments in information technology are just one factor in the complex
mix of pressures bringing about change in industry today. The great increase in
the use of networked systems has created a massive demand for cable management
products. In addition, the constraints imposed by the latest generation of data
communication cables have led to the greater use of high performance CAT5e/6/7
or fibre optic cables. At the same time, the huge increase in the use of electromechnical and electronic equipment has resulted in a similar rise in
mains power demand.
