Material Specification and Workmanship
Hanson Building Products provide a wide range of building materials from facing bricks in over 300 different colours and textures to lightweight, aircrete and aggregate blocks, as well as concrete flooring systems.
This seminar is an introduction to brick characteristics, physical properties and requirements to meet the specification of the material code BS EN 771-1: 2003. Workmanship looks at the considerations of handling materials, design detailing, workmanship on site durability and rain penetration.
