Natural Smoke Ventilation and Roof Access for Flat Roofs
This seminar will present current standard
practice for installing roof hatches and illustrate installation techniques and
highlight main design features. Safety issue and implications of Manual
Handling Regulations and Part L2 are also explained.
Bilco will examine why smoke vents are required and expand on the benefits,
critical design features and positioning.
Codes of practices and regulations, including BRE 79204, BS 5588 & EN 12101 are
elaborated on with animated illustration to show how typical stairwell and smoke
shaft schemes work.
