Material Specification and Workmanship - Architectural

This seminar is an introduction to brick characteristics, physical properties and requirements to meet the specification of the material code BS EN 771-1: 2003. Workmanship looks at the considerations of handling materials, design detailing, workmanship on site durability and rain penetration.

Designing for Movement - Architectural

This seminar looks at the specification of expansion joists in clay brickwork and a comparison of traditional solid masonry with cavity wall construction. With consideration given to the relationship of movement and design with respect to off frame cladding.

Structural Brickwork - Architectural
