Job Description Salary
Position: Controls and Calibrations Engineer
Closing Date: 22nd June 2018
Location: Wrexham, North Wales

Skills Required:
  • Educated to Degree/HNC in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering or Mechatronics (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in the calibration of vehicle control systems, eg. Powertrain or chassis
  • Knowledge of Automotive electronics, including sensors, control units & diagnostics
  • Experience of CAN based vehicle systems & associated tools i.e. CAN analysis
  • Experience of engineering processes such as FMEA, software development, 8D etc
  • Able to plan and organise work schedules to meet deadlines
  • Competent & logical problem solving techniques
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft office applications
  • Good spoken &written communication skills
  • Promote Health, Safety & Quality at all times
  • Sense of Urgency – Showing drive & motivation

Position: Senior Design Engineer

Location: Rocester, Staffordshire

Skills Required:
  • Degree / HND in Mechanical Engineering or have equivalent experience
  • Experience in the design/development of off highway vehicles
  • Enthusiastic attitude, coupled with a sense of urgency and desire to succeed
  • Good teamwork & communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of CAD/PLM systems, plus supporting engineering software

Skills Required:
  • Degree/HND or equivalent in electrical / electronic engineering or associated discipline with a sound understanding of engineering principles
  • Considerable experience of diesel engine & DPF/SCR controls & associated hardware
  • Sound knowledge of vehicle electrical systems architecture
  • Have a sound grasp of the engine product development cycle, and expertise in engine system & component specification, design, development & sign-off
  • Demonstrate the ability to diagnose, test & fault find electrical systems
  • Track record in managing product life cycle through design control process

  • 5 Years+ experience of using FEA to solve engineering problems
