The Company
Working in partnership with De Kobra, one of Europe’s leading
kitchen ventilation equipment manufacturers, Weatherite Building
Services Ltd has become one of the UK leaders in the design,
manufacture, installation and maintenance of ventilation systems for
commercial kitchen applications.
Composition & Manufacture
All De Kobra canopies and ventilation ceilings are manufactured from
18/10 AISI 304 brushed stainless steel. To ensure good hygiene
standards, all units are welded with no visible fixings and only
internal folds.
Weatherite offers a range of extract only and dishwasher canopies
suitable for small, medium and heavy duty applications where
replacement air is available from other sources.
For installations where the replacement air is to be supplied
through the canopy, variations to the extract only canopy offer
alternative solutions.
For improved and more sophisticated air comfort, the range of
canopies includes:
Inductovent & Inductivo Canopies
Inductovent canopies introduce an untempered supply of air directly
into filters. This reduces extraction from the room thereby reducing
energy and heating costs.
Inductivo Aircomfort canopies provide the same benefits as
Inductovent canopies but with the additional advantage of tempered
room supply air.
Kitchen Ventilated Ceilings
Weatherite manufacture, supply, install and maintain ventilated
ceilings for most applications, including bespoke, modular and
cassette-type installations.
Kitchen Ventilation - Bespoke & Domestic Canopies
As well as supplying extract systems for commercial application,
Weatherite also provides a service to both domestic and commercial
clients in bespoke custom-made canopies.
Energy-Saver - Control System
Fully controlled by microprocessors, the Energy-Saver control system
provides efficient cost-effective extraction through: Reduced energy
consumption; automatic sensing of temperature from individual
cooking appliances rather than the whole kitchen; controlled
incoming air to balance extract volumes; fire detection; automatic
fan speed response/adjustment to heat, smoke and vapour; and easy
maintenance.
Kitchen UV Canopies
Utilising the latest UV technology, Weatherite’s UV canopies
effectively controls grease and odour whilst minimising ductwork
cleaning requirements and fire risk hazards.
Technical Support
From initial enquiry through design, manufacture and installation,
Weatherite Building Services works closely with the client
throughout the project, and once completed, provides full aftercare
including a comprehensive service and maintenance programme and a
24-hour emergency service.
