Rainscreens create thermally efficient claddings
suited to modern architecture whilst demonstrating ‘excellence’ in
meeting demand for carbon neutrality. Our façades interface readily
with curtain walling, glazing and other claddings to provide
flexibility of design in the creation of an individual style.
Terracotta Cladding
Terracotta rainscreens are manufactured under the
BBA approved ‘Argeton’ process available in thirteen natural colours
or glazed to RAL along with a range of profile and texture
varieties. Mayor Tempio Ceramics offer colours, patterns and fired
glazed effects to meet the most demands for corporate identity.
Certification under BREEAM is in progress for projects seeking an
excellent carbon neutral rating.
Porcelain facades from Imola, Royal Mosa, Apavisa,
Caesar and Ariostea enable larger formats to be created within a
compelling range of natural, stone and metallic aesthetics, varying
in relief and finish.
Alsecco Airtec lightweight concrete panels faced
with natural stone or coloured glass offer an exiting new dimension
to our range in panel dimensions up to 3200mm by 1200mm.
Corium brick rainscreens by Wienerberger are
radically changing the perspective that brick is a style of the past
with lightweight brick facades in dramatic natural colours, textures
and glazes.
Photo Voltaics panels are available as building
integrated units that can be incorporated in a rainscreen façade or
within curtain walling. Manufactured from toughened safety glass
with an interlayer of polyvinylbutral, the mono and polycrystalline
cells are multi-functional in providing an appealing aesthetic along
with tangible energy generation. Seven colours and a range of cell
shapes permit architectural creativity for walls, roofs, atriums,
sunscreens and balconies that face south.
Composition:- Rainscreens conform with all
building regulations for non load bearing cladding systems. Natural
clay and ceramic tiles are available in formats of up to 1500mm in
length and 500mm in height and Porcelain panels 1200mm x 600mm.
Stone and glass panels can be created in storey height panels up to
1.20 metres in width. The system weigh between 40-70 kgs/m² with the
aluminium substructures designed in accordance with British
Standards as well as tested for compliance with
CWCT Standards
Appearance:- Smooth faced natural clay
tiles in thirteen colours, patterned or glazed ceramics to any RAL
colour, polished riven or matt porcelain and UK sourced natural
stone panels are available from our extensive range. Our systems are
all suitable for use in both refurbishment and new construction.
Lightweight steel and timber frame construction can be designed to
accommodate the systems.
Design & Planning:- CAD details assist the
designer with interface details. Structural calculations for support
structure, wind speeds and the calculation of loads applicable are
undertaken by the in-house design and engineering department of
