UPVC Fascias - UPVC Soffits - Roofline Cladding - Guttering - Recycled Rainwater Systems
Cellular PVC is a highly sustainable material. It is well suited to the exposed conditions encountered at the roofline and on clad façades. Situated in elevated positions and subject to extreme weather conditions, these areas are difficult and costly to access and maintain in a proper manner.
Swish Cellular PVC requires no maintenance; it will last the life time of the building and can be fully recycled at the end of its service life.
New Build - Under the Code for Sustainable Homes, PVC building products can help developers achieve high materials ratings. PVC cladding over a suitable timber framework forms an A+ external wall system. Swish now holds BES6001 Certification and can offer developers and their clients maximum points for responsible sourcing of roofline and cladding materials (Mat2&3) under the Code for Sustainable Homes and the EcoHomes scheme.
Refurbishment - Social housing and private landlords wish to minimise maintenance costs. Swish Cellular PVC offers the potential of a 60+ year, maintenance-free working life, minimising lifetime costs and freeing up cash for CO2 reduction materials such as insulation.
When eventually replaced, Swish profiles can be easily identified and fully recycled. This process can be carried out many times over. Swish is at the forefront of developing recycling within the cellular PVC industry.
Swish white cellular PVC profiles are backed by a 20 Year Guarantee and carry British Standards Kitemark (KM 33730) and British Board of Agrément (91/2621/22) certification. Swish holds BES6001 (Responsible Sourcing), ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environmental) and OHSAS 18001 (Health & Safety) certification.
A comprehensive range of load bearing fascia boards in a choice of profiles including Square, Bullnose and Ogee designs. Roofstyle and Decorative bargeboards provide increased design choice. Swish roofline and cladding profiles are available as standard in White with selected profiles available in Anthracite, Grey and Sahara Beige. A range of Roofline, cladding, window board and trimming profiles is available in Mahogany, Light Oak, Rosewood, White, Cream and Black woodgrain effect finishes.
Swish Rainwater systems are ideal for those who wish to specify products that have a reduced carbon footprint. They are unique in the UK in that they contain a high proportion of post consumer recycled PVC. Approximately 84% by weight of Swish gutters and pipes is composed of recycled material that is derived from old PVC windows and gutter systems that have been removed from buildings when refurbished or demolished. A 70% saving in CO2 output is made during production of Swish gutter and pipe profiles because the production of PVC components from recycled material requires a fraction of the energy needed to make virgin PVC. This innovative design results in a far more sustainable product.
The core recycled material is grey and is left this colour to avoid the unnecessary use of colouring agent. The outer skin is virgin material, co-extruded onto the surface of the core to enhance the finished appearance and to aid colour matching.
Accessories are injection moulded using virgin PVC. These components incorporate a simple clip together system for fitting gutter and pipe profiles. The gutter clips include pre-installed seals that are lubricated during manufacture to ease the clipping process.
Swish rainwater systems are manufactured under ISO 9001 Quality Management System to the following standards: Kitemark KM508760 (BS EN 607:2004, Eaves Gutters & Fittings, BS EN 12200-1:2000 (Plastic Piping Systems), BS EN 1462:2004 (Brackets for Eaves Gutters).
Swish, Jumbo, Polo, Cappit, Jumbotec, GeePee, & TeeGee are all Registered Trademarks
