AS35 Insulated Roof Panels & Insulated Wall
Panel Systems
The AS35 insulated panels system offers rapid
coverage and swift completion of a weatherproof building envelope.
It consists of two coated steel profiles with PIR insulation between
forming a strong rigid panel with good thermal performance. They can
be used to form roofs down to a 4º pitch and walls. The system
includes a comprehensive range of guttering, flashings, sealants and
rooflights.
AS35 panels are fire tested by LPCB to LPS
1181:2003. The PIR insulation has a thermal conductivity of 0.019W/mK
and the edges are sealed to offer effective resistance to air
leakage. They are unaffected by mould, fungi or mildew and do not
support vermin. AS35 panels have a weighted sound reduction Rw of
between 22db and 25db in accordance with BS EN ISO 140-3:1995, and
have a predicted service life of 40 years, which can be further
extended by touching up cut edges at the time of installation.
Profiled rooflights are available to match AS35
panels. These can be two or three skins of GRP and can be supplied
to meet project requirements for light transmission, durability,
non-fragility, fire resistance and thermal performance. Each
rooflight has a metal underlap strip built into the crown of the
male edge which enables the rooflights to be stitched with standard
screws.
Gutters can be supplied in a variety of finishes
and can be manufactured to client specifications.
Flashings can be supplied in lengths up to 6m in
traditional profiles or can be shaped to customer requirements.
Standard external colours include Goosewing Grey,
Ivory, Merlin Grey, Moorland Green, Mushroom, Olive Green, Juniper
Green, Ocean Blue, Slate Blue, Teracotta, Vandyke Brown and White.
Other colours are available to order.
Meta-SlatePlus Insulated Slate Effect
Roofing System
The Meta-SlatePlus system is a combination
of the Meta-Slate slate effect roofing sheet, fixed over Steadmans’
AS35 insulated panel.
Meta-SlatePlus has the appearance of
natural slate but carries the advantages of modern lightweight
construction. The sheet is embossed with a regular slate pattern and
is covered with a slate blue matt polyester. Other finishes and
colours are available by special order.
Meta-Slate is ideal for environmentally sensitive
locations where planning restrictions may exist and is fixed by a
simple secret fix joint system.
The Meta-SlatePlus System may be fitted
down to a 10º pitch and has good thermal performance characteristics
in addition to those shown by the AS35 roofing sheet, and includes a
comprehensive range of clips, jointing pieces, flashings, end
closures, sealants and coated steel or plastic gutters and downpipes.
Steadmans also produce a range of Single and
Twinskin metal cladding systems for industrial and commercial
buildings.
