Cetol Interior & Exterior Decorative Woodcare Woodstain Systems
Cetol HLS plus – A solvent-borne exterior woodstain for use alone as
a system on cladding, garden furniture and decking, and as a single
application basecoat before applying Cetol Filter 7 (or Cetol THB) on
windows, doors and other timber joinery.
Cetol Filter 7 – A solvent-borne, satin exterior woodstain for windows,
doors and other timber joinery. For use as a maintenance coat for
existing woodstain systems or over a basestain of Cetol HLS/Cetol HLS
plus on new or bare timbers. Cetol Filter 7 contains UV light absorbers
which provide superior protection from sunlight, especially in areas of
high exposure.
Cetol THB – A solvent-borne, satin finish (over Cetol HLS/Cetol HLS plus
or as a maintenance coat for existing woodstain systems) for windows,
doors and other timber joinery. Cetol THB is suitable for use on less
exposed surfaces, or where slightly more frequent maintenance periods
are acceptable.
Cetol Novatech – A high solids exterior woodstain for use as a two coat
system on cladding and fencing, or as a single coat application basecoat
before applying Cetol Novatop on windows and doors. In terms of
durability, two coats of Cetol Novatech are equivalent to three coats of
Cetol HLS/Cetol HLS plus.
Cetol Novatop – A high solids, flexible, weather resistant, semi-gloss
coating for use over Cetol Novatech on new doors and windows, or as a
maintenance coat, to provide maximum durability. One coat of Cetol
Novatech followed by one coat of Cetol Novatop is equivalent to a
traditional three-coat system, and provides a five year maintenance
cycle.
Cetol BL21 plus – An alkyd/acrylic, water-borne coating used alone as a
system on cladding, fascias, soffits, gables and eaves, or a single
application base coat under Cetol BL31 on windows and doors.
Cetol BL31 – An acrylic, water-borne satin finish for use over Cetol
BL21 plus or as a maintenance coat on previously coated windows and
doors.
Cetol BL Opaque – A premium quality ‘paint-like’ finish offering
significant durability and Best Value benefits compared with
‘traditional paints’. Its superb covering power means that only two
coats are normally required whether the timber surface is bare, new,
previously painted or stained.
Cetol BL Primer – A premium quality timber primer with excellent
adhesion properties. It is particularly recommended as a stain-blocking
primer for use on exterior hardwoods or knotty softwoods, where it
minimises extractive discolouration of water-borne finishes.
Cetol HS Color – A two-coat, semi-opaque woodstain system for fencing
applications. Its performance is enhanced by its moisture vapour
permeable formulation which effectively regulates moisture change.
Cetol TS Interior – A solvent-borne, high performance interior woodstain
formulated to colour and protect interior timbers.
Cetol BL Decor – A water-borne woodstain providing decoration for
interior softwoods or hardwoods, such as wall panelling, architraves or
doors.
Cetol BL Unitop – A water-borne, acrylic urethane varnish which provides
a colourless satin finish. Cetol BL Unitop can be used alone or over
Cetol BL Decor for added protection against abrasion.
Colour Availability – All Cetol translucent woodstain products are
available in 36 colours from the Natural Balance collection. Cetol BL21
plus, Cetol BL31 and Cetol BL Decor are also available in 132 Cetol
‘Design’ colours.
Rubbol Preparatory Products
Kodrin BL – A high performance, fast drying, resin based interior
filler that enables potentially unsightly open woodgrain to be
effectively filled.
Kodrin Spachtel – Suitable for interior and exterior use on primed
surfaces as a levelling filler for open woodgrain and damaged paintwork,
it allows superior high gloss finishes such as Rubbol AZ, to achieve a
particularly smooth finish to show of their optimum sheen.
Onol & Onol Express are primer/undercoats and fast drying low
temperature primer/undercoats which provide a perfect foundation for the
Rubbol exterior opaque finishes.
Redox AK Primer & Redox AC Multi Primer are for use on ferrous metals
and non-ferrous metals and hard plastics respectively.
