venture with award-winning architects Cartwright Pickard to design and
engineer a modern way of making and delivering homes for the 21st
Century. Advanced Steel Solutions
Kingspan Off-Site manufactures and supplies an extensive range of
construction systems that provide the off-site sector with a
comprehensive light gauge steel package of building solutions. These
include Framing Sections, Floor and Ceiling Cassettes for modular
builders, Wall Framing, Kingframe Architectural Façade Systems and
Kingframe Building System.
Kingframe Architectural Façade Systems and Wall Framing are non
loadbearing project specific designs for steel or concrete framed
buildings. The systems connect directly onto the main structure and are
suitable for both recessed and face fixed applications. Kingframe
Architectural Façade Systems consist of the steel frame, sheathing
board, insulation and bracket system for the client’s choice of façade
(ventilated rainscreen, conventional systems or render).
Kingframe Building System is a whole load-bearing construction method
consisting of a range of off-site manufactured panel assemblies. This
new system eliminates the need for a primary frame and can still utilise
the façade options of Kingframe Architectural Façade Systems. Low
Carbon Technologies
In addition to the design, supply and delivery of energy efficient
timber and steel structural components, Kingspan Off-Site can also
design, supply and commission a heating and cooling package based on the
energy requirements of the building.
At the heart of energy efficient buildings are high levels of thermal
performance delivered in conjunction with high levels of air-tightness.
With air-tightness comes the requirement for controlled ventilation,
providing a fresh and healthy supply of air for the occupants.
The Kingspan Air Recovery System extracts dust, irritants and stale air
replacing it with a fresh supply. The System is also able to recover
heat from the exhausted air, recycling up to 88% of the heat normally
lost with conventional extractors. The unique hygroscopic filter used in
the Kingspan Air Recovery System also contributes to a stable and
comfortable level of humidity within the property.
Kingspan Off-Site not only supplies space heating systems as detailed,
but can also custom design, supply and commission a solar water heating
system. Kingspan Off-Site provides modular solar systems complete with
accessories to offer maximum flexibility to meet demand for
domestic/commercial hot water in today’s modern climate. |
