Heat Pumps

Dimplex has the widest range of heat pumps in the UK and through our sister company in Germany has over 30 years experience. We can offer air source heat pumps for indoor or outdoor installation with capacities from 6kW up to 60kW. Our new inverter-driven Air-Eau range offers superior performance with CoPs of up to 4.7, to give a significant reduction in running costs and CO2 emissions. In ground source, we can offer capacities from 4kW up to 130kW, making the range ideal for applications from small domestic properties through to commercial. We also offer reversible models which provide cooling as well as heating. Our MCS certified models are also eligible for the Renewable Heat Incentive - generating income for owners.

Dimplex heat pumps have been installed in a wide variety of installations including communal heating systems in apartments, schools and colleges, social housing properties, retail parks, churches, self build and National Trust properties. With such a wide range we can design tailored solutions to suit most buildings requirements whatever the size.

SmartRad Intelligent Fan Convectors

SmartRad fan convectors are designed for low water temperature, optimising a heat pumps CoP and making them a cost effective, practical alternative to underfloor heating, making them ideal for new build and retro fit projects. With only 5% of the water volume of a conventional radiator, the low thermal mass of SmartRad means heat up time, responsiveness, control and comfort, are significantly improved.

Solar Thermal

At Dimplex we offer a range of pre-packaged kits for easy specification and with all the required components supplied in the kit, installation and commission is simple too. With a choice of flat plate or evacuated tube collectors and a variety of mounting options, there is a kit suitable for most applications. The roof kits are complemented by our new range of EC-Eau solar cylinders, which include direct and indirect models for highly efficient hot water storage. The collectors are Solar Keymark approved which means installations are eligible for the Renewable Heat Incentive.

Solar PV

Dimplex offer a choice of landscape and portrait kits suitable for domestic and light commercial applications. All the parts required for installation are included in the kit for easy installation, with variants available for a range of roof coverings. With an MCS certified, high efficiency, high performance, 240Wp module, Dimplex PV kits are eligible for the Feed-in Tariff when installed by an MCS accredited installer.

Applications requiring large outputs or different mountings, for example free standing installations are available on request.

Air Curtains

Our extensive air curtain portfolio includes surface and recess mounted air curtains using electric heat, water heat or as ambient units for commercial and heavy commercial applications. We also offer a range of bespoke architectural units (see pic right) that are perfect for applications where design requirements are of particular importance and a range of heavy duty industrial products designed for the largest openings.

With express direct delivery to installation site and up to 3 year warranties, these products represent peace of mind as well as efficient performance.

All Dimplex air curtains are supplied as standard with energy saving controls complete with a BMS/BEMS connection for integrated control with other equipment and all models help to reduce energy consumption, lower facility running costs and can contribute to a more energy efficient building with reduced tax burden under the Government CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme.
