Space Airconditioning plc (Est. 1980) is the UK’s
only independent distributor of DAIKIN air conditioning equipment
and systems. Space Air offers complete system design, schematic
drawings, product training, expert after-sales and spare parts
support. Space Air also produces a comprehensive range of

Daikin Air Conditioning Systems
The Daikin Corporation (Est.1924) is renowned for

products. Equipment destined for the European market is manufactured
in Belgium, the Czech Republic and Italy. Daikin remains at the

Water Chillers 5kW - 2MW
Space Air offers Daikin chillers from a range of
over 300 models including air-cooled, water-cooled and remote
condenser types:
Remote self-diagnostic controllers that can allow
the simultaneous operation of up to 4 chillers (2.2MW).
Air Source Air to Air Heat Pump System
VRV (Variable Refrigerant Volume) Systems 10kW -
147kW
Providing the ultimate in space saving and energy
efficiency with the industry’s highest COP (coefficient of
performance) Space Air supports all Daikin VRV systems:

VRVIII (10kW ~ 147kW) designed for medium to
large premises, offers larger capacities, higher efficiencies,
longer pipe length capability, greater fan coil connectivity (up
to 64 fan coil units) & less refrigerant than ever before. A
unique digital leak checking feature aids compliance with the
F-Gas Regulation.

VRV III-S or mini VRV (10kW ~ 15.5kW),
bridges the gap between the multi- split & larger capacity VRV
systems to provide the precise efficiency & control for the
smaller office, shop, or residence.
Water Source Water to Air Heat Pump System
Air Source Air to Air Heat Pump Systems
Split & Multi Split-Systems 2kW - 16kW
Ideal for small to medium sized properties, these
systems can operate up to 5 indoor units from a single outdoor unit
for year round comfort. Several stylish compact and extremely quiet
indoor fan coil unit models are available.
Air Source Air to Water Heat Pump System
Heating / Hot water 5kW - 16kW (MCS Registered)
Daikin Altherma, supplied by Space Air, is a high
efficiency air to water, heat pump system, designed to replace the
conventional central heating boiler to reduce carbon emissions and
energy bills in any residential and certain commercial developments.
3 types of system are available, the classic split type, the
all-in-one – able to achieve water temperatures up to 55°C without
supplementary heat, and new for 2009, the "Daikin Altherma HT”
offering hot water temperatures up to 80°C.
Heat Reclaim Ventilation System (HRV)
The modular Daikin HRV system efficiently
exchanges temperature and humidity between supply and exhaust air.
This process reduces energy waste and can reduce the air
conditioning load. This low cost, modular system is ideal for both
commercial and residential applications, installed independently or
in conjunction with Daikin air conditioning systems.
Tax Breaks
Many Daikin air source heat pump systems and
chillers qualify for valuable tax breaks in the form of Enhanced
Capital Allowances or Annual Investment Allowances. Details can be
