the requirements of its customers. New Colman Clip-in Building Louvres SystemsTo meet the need of where the time to carry out the installation of Louvres is short and where access may be a problem Colman have developed a site assembled clip-in system. The system can incorporate single and double doors with a wide range of optional accessories. Blades are available in 50mm, 75mm and 100mm pitch configuration. The blades are mounted on mullions by means of a factory fitted purpose designed aluminium clip to ensure accurate alignment of each blade profile. A high free area up to 60% with the 100mm system and low pressure loss enables the louvre to be ideal for screening, cladding and applications where conventional weathering needs are to be met. The system has been independently tested at BISRIA, where it was proven to be "light" but robust, technically advanced and easy to install. Colman Factory Built External LouvresA standard range of louvres are available in 50mm and 70mm pitches,
designed for sheltered exposure, moderate exposure and severe exposure
conditions, with both flanged and flangeless models and optional
accessories such as bird guard, insect screen, and burglar bars. Ventilation Louvre SpecificationColman louvres are manufactured from aluminium extrusions to BS 1474 and from aluminium sheet to BS1470. Bird Guards are made from galvanized mild steel weld mesh and insect screen from specialist nylon re-inforced mesh. Product finishing is varied; Mill finish, Polyester Powder Coatings to RAL and many British Standard finishes, PVF Resins, Syntha Pulvin and Anodised treatments to commercially available colours. Customer Support ServicesTechnical support is available from both a team of external technical sales engineers based throughout the UK but also from the office in advising on product selections. Upon receipt of an order the Computer Aided Design team liaises with either the Architect, Consultant or Contractor in ensuring that the chosen design is correct for the site where it can be installed through the Colman team of louver installers following manufacture. |
