offices around the UK, each with strong management and a solid
technical team. However, all projects have director level project
control, and one point of contact for all mechanical and electrical

Our services cover the complete package of M&E design consultancy
services. As well as mechanical, electrical and public health
engineering design management, we include life safety and fire
suppression engineering design.
Engineering for sustainability is at the core of M&E consultancy, so
we invest in the latest design technology to develop effective,
efficient solutions. We’re certified CIBSE Low Carbon Consultants,
and are now accredited to carry out BREEAM assessments. And because
sustainability requires evaluation and development, our in-house
specialists accredited to assess buildings for EPC and DEC
certification. Our commitment to sustainability means that we
operate to ISO 14001. Our expertise in low and zero carbon
technologies includes CHP, solar thermal, wind turbines,
photovoltaics, biomass and biofuel, air and ground source heating
and cooling. We also offer expertise on water management strategies
including rainwater harvesting, grey water recycling and black water
treatment.
Our positive attitude to our clients and services comes from a
strong constructive culture in our business, demonstrated by BSD
gaining Investors in People accreditation in 2008. We strongly
