Low Thermal Conductivity Wall Ties

Ancon supplies a range of cavity wall ties which minimise the effects of thermal bridging, thereby improving the energy efficiency of a masonry wall. These products can be used to reduce insulation thickness and wall footprint. The range includes the BBA-approved TeploTie manufactured from basalt fibres and available for cavities from 50mm to 300mm.

Masonry Restraint Fixings

Ancon manufactures wall ties which can be specified by using a simple reference system for the head, shank and end of the tie. Other products include frame cramps, head restraints and two-part ties.

Masonry Support

Ancon manufactures a range of systems to support masonry cladding on steel or concrete framed structures. AnconOptima is a standard system comprising a two-step angle and a range of interchangeable brackets that suit cavities from 60mm to 150mm. Standard systems are available to support a brickwork height of up to 7 metres and can be easily specified using simple load/cavity charts. Ancon Individual Brackets provide flexibility in the design of brickwork and can be used to support curves and arches.

Masonry support systems can be supplied with Thermal Breaks to minimise heat loss through cold bridging, and improve the energy efficiency of your building project. Ancon Thermal Breaks locate quickly and easily between bracket and structural frame, as the support system is installed.

Masonry Reinforcement & Windposts

Ancon AMR masonry reinforcement features flattened longitudinal wires which allow it to be installed within the bed joint. Standard widths/wire diameters are available. Ancon Windposts span vertically between floors. They are designed to suit specific applications and are supplied with all end connections and wall ties. Both these products provide additional lateral support to masonry panels.

Stonework Supports

Ancon’s product range includes a variety of individual support angles and restraint fixings specifically for use with stone cladding. Ties can be easily specified with dowels or lips for the restraining of stone panels. Wire ties are also available for the fixing of thin marble.

Tension Bar Systems

The Ancon 500 is a high performance tension system. It is available in carbon steel or stainless steel and comprises a stylish range of fork connectors, locking nuts, bars and discs. These components can be used to create a variety of assemblies from simple tie bars to complex bracing systems with several bars joined at one point. In addition to a high load capacity, the Ancon 500 Tension System meets the demanding aesthetic requirements of today’s architectural applications.
