Vitreous China

Formed from a mixture of china clays, ball clays and finely ground materials, which when fired produce an impervious ceramic material. Vitreous china is available with a white or coloured glazed surface. The glaze is integral with the ceramic body and is resistant to water absorption, burning, stains, scratching and attack by acids or alkalis.

Rimless WCs

Twyford Bathrooms has now developed its revolutionary rimless toilets for the domestic market with the Moda Rimfree® WC. The Moda Rimfree® has no rim which means there’s quite simply nowhere for germs to hide. It’s ultra hygienic and easy to clean - and with no rim shadow, the bowl looks cleaner and shinier. Cleaning is simpler than ever before - a quick wipe over with a cloth will produce sparkling results every time. The Moda Rimfree® uses Twyford’s unique Flushwise® 4 and 2.6 litre dual flush technology. This delivers great results using up to 60% less water than a standard WC, flushing on 6 litres.

Fine Fireclay

Buff firing clays are used to manufacture the larger and heavier fixtures such as large sinks, hospital equipment and other items for use in public buildings. The buff clay body is coated with white enamel that in turn is covered with a high glass glaze that bonds securely to the clay body during firing. The glazed surface is resistant to burning, staining, scratching and attack by acids or alkalis.

Flushwise® - Leading the Way in Water Saving

Our unique Flushwise® WC system sets new standards for water saving. Its revolutionary 4 or 2.6 litre dual flush uses 60% less water than conventional WCs, yet gives a perfect flush every time. Available in ranges: Moda, Galerie, Galerie Plan, Grace and Alcona. Flushwise® is also now available in concealed cistern form - yet another first for Twyford.

Acrylic & Porcelain Enamelled Steel Baths

Acrylic baths have a warm feel, yet are made from tough, fully reinforced acrylic sheet backed with glass fibre giving them strength. Twyford's Signature low volume bath offers a water saving option – just 140 litres of water to the overflow. Twyford Steel Baths are available in varying thicknesses of gauge steel, up to or beyond all the relevant quality standards. The finish is very hard wearing, resistant to knocks, scratching, burning and staining. Twyford's low volume Celtic steel bath offers a 1700 x 700mm high quality steel bath with a capacity of just 140 litres the overflow.

Brassware

Twyford offers a choice of both contemporary and nostalgic design brassware in chrome finish. Generally, all Twyford brassware is BS4512 flow rate compliant and the components used are manufactured to UK Water Regulations standards. Twyford also offer a range of low volume, water saving products along with a range of functional, modern Thermostatic TMV2 and TMV3 approved taps.

Stainless Steel

Tough and hardwearing, Vecta stainless steel is ideal for high traffic / intensive use areas to those at risk of vandalism.The material enables the products to withstand impact of up to 100kg, and yet provides innovative style to suit upmarket interior design décor.
